I've read here that currently there are no virii for SE, although the Symbian SE phones can become infected with Symbian virii. Does this actually happen? Personally i haven't come across any such occurrences... I may be wrong, but i don't recall seeing any such posts here yet.

Thats partially correct....there are no known virii for Symbian UIQ.....yet . The symbian virii have only affected phones using the Series 60 interface ( most nokias)

Well, the guys who conjured the Zotob virus which hammered Microsoft were both barely out of their teens, so there's a start... Find a teenager with enough tech savvy, time on his hands and malice on his mind, and voila, a SE virus may emerge... Never say never...
