The only branding that O2 does is to the start-up and shutdown screens and replaces the Playnow icon with a O2 active link. The phones are unlocked so can be used on any network.
It will invalidate your warrenty.
Its not worth the extra cost involved and voiding the warrenty to get rid of the O2 Active link, which is the only part that affects the running of the phone.

How did you debrand? I would recommend TMS you can use the DCU 60 cable that comes with the phone as well.
You can read more on this service from there website.

I just 'unlocked' (Globe network) my branded

K750i last week, but before doing so (I know that I will be losing my one year warranty here) I contacted my friend who heads one of the

Service Centers in Makati City and told him my problem, she then advised me to bring the fone to her if ever I will be encountering problems in the future as long as the fone is not opened (loose screws etc.) and the seal will not be tampered. The fone is just working fine right now (a week), I tested all of the fone's features the very moment it was unlocked, calls/sms/games/videos etc. I know that it is very rare to see fones go berserk when unlocking it, as long as the technician will not touch the fone's program/software etc.
