I know how to upload to the phone, but can you download from the phone onto a PC ?

If so, what software will allow you to do this ?
All the software I have is for uploading TO the phone.

i can send objects (themes, melodies, etc) via bluetooth from my T68i to my notebook/desktop equipped with Anycom Bluetooth card.

Same here, no problems sending notes, ringtones, pictures, and what not to my PC from my phone via Bluetooth or the IR port.

Once it's in range, it automatically detects my T68.

I have both USB cable connection and I.R. , but not BlueTooth.

I know I can send pictures from the phone via E-mail or MMS, but both those options are not free for me.

yes. you can store in your t68i pictures in various formats (.gif, .jpg, .bmp. .wbmp) remember that you can view only .gif images sized at 101x80 pixel....otherwise you will still have your pic stored in the phone, but it will visualize a rex "X" instead of the pic. So, You can store whatever picture, whatever memory size (up to 1 MB), whatever the dimensions and then upload it to your pc via bluetooth or Infra Red. No software required.

I don't have bluetooth nor an Ir on my PC. I only have a data cable. But I have a Palm. I can send Pictures, themes and ringtones to my Palm m515 via infrared. Just run McFile on the palm and its ready to receive. Save the picture on the memory card and transfer it to the PC using syncwizard. A bit complicated but it works.

The question is:
How do you download FROM the phone TO the PC, I'd like to download the pictures taken from the Communicam to my PC without using MMS or E-mail etc.

How you do it depends on your SW and HW drivers.
What HW do you have?

I've got the ACER USB Bluetooth adapter it is possible to make it work with the 3com drivers and SW according to a post at:
www.telefon-treff.de search for "ACER USB"

However, I haven't succeded with it so dont ask me...yet

BTW it's in german.
