WEIRD thing!

The phone is relatively new, I haven't dropped it or tampered with it in any way.

When the flip is closed, I can see that my reception is full. When I open it however, my reception is dropped immediately!!

Any ideas...?

Have been some reports about this from others. Both with V800 and Z800i. Seems that some phones have bad connectors that work/not work depending on opening the flip. I would take it to a service point and demand it fixed or a new phone (since it probably is a design/production fault).
