All the T68 handsets I've seen are the silver ones, like mine. Before its release Wap.com said that the silver version is the limited edition one.

Now some dude in the US is selling a 'limited edition' Gold one claiming that they make one gold T68 for every thirty silver ones. Any ideas?

2 gold ones huh..why?

well.. what I wanted to say was that the gold one acctually seems to be some sort of limited edition.

I bought my T68 yesterday (I should have gotten it six weeks ago, but nobody had it, and they couldn't get it), and the clerk said that about 90% of the phones made are grey...

Elgato : the Gold version is not a limited version.
The grey one, was just the first one to reach the market,..and I guess also the more popular one.
When talking to some stores, they think the grey one will sell better in the long run. I believe they are right, and I guess Ericsson had the same thoughts. And the grey version was very hard to get in the beginning as well

By the way : if the Gold-version is limited edition,..I guess it should say somewhere, that: "only X-numbers will be made of this model".

The other thing is : the last 4 stores I went to,..had only the gold-versions. So maybe its the grey one that's limited

The silver came out in small amounts in the begining, thats why it was hard to get a hold of it. When we reach 2002 the amounts of both Gold and Silver will be alot larger.
