Hello all!

Just got my O2 upgrade K750i.

Now I know that the build quality on the SEs are nothing to write home about... but the button on the right of the shortcuts button seems a bit dodgy.

I mean, it is slightly looser than the button on the left and all other buttons but works absolutely perfectly.

After having a Siemens S65 - which is a good construction and solid, I am concerned that with use, the right button will become faulty.

I'd appreciate any thoughts on this - would you send it back to OK and ask for a replacement?
Or do you think it will be ok?

Cheers in advance!

My left soft key is really loose and creaks and squeaks every time i press it it has been like this since i recieved it, still works fine tho. Gotta admit build quality of the k750i does leave a lot to be desired, think se should take a leaf outta motorola's book (Rzr and PEBL).

Nebbs - cheers for that!

Yeah, thats the thing... if I send it back - I might get a worse one.

How long have you had your phone Nebbs? I know you said the left key has been loose since you got it, but how long is that?

Cheers.

Trust me, send it back!
Im the one here on the forum that finds all cosmetic faults on phones, and i have got 3 k750s and one should not accept any wobbly softkey. Not at that price.

Yeah, I agree Dr David I suppose.

I wonder if I have to send this one back before O2 will send the new phone - as otherwise it will mean I am without my phone for about 5 days?

Had mine since the end of june mate. Dont get me wrong tho i love the k750 think its a marvelous machine so im quite happy to live with the the little niggles. Its like every thing in life take the rough with the smooth, just lucky with the k750 the smooth out numbers the rough tenfold.

@okay

have a look on the back of the battery cover it'll say week##.

Seems like earlier phones have a bit of a lesser build quality, creaks, squeaks and even the little pin hole blemishes on the silver sides (which i have two!!...lol). By the way mine is stamped week20.

@ okay

SE have a policy to swap faulty phones if its not older then 7 days. Just go to the shop and swap it, if they disagree, ask them to call SE customer service
