I have about 30mg free on my memory card and loads of room left on the phone.

Have tried to bluetooth a 12meg file from my PC but when the sending is complete, I get the message on the PC that there is not enough room on target device and the file is not on the phone.

I have no idea why this happens - does anyone else know please?

I ended up taking the card out and putting the video on the card manually using a card reader.

This is fairly annoying as I can send a 6 meg file ok so whats the problem with the 12 meg file?

Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers!

It sends the file to the phone and not the mem stick so if you dont have room on the phone then it wont send.

oops, sorry, the phone is a K750i.

Whenever I bluetooth a file over, it stores it on the memory card not the phone. And as I said - I have plenty of room on both to accomodate this file so have no idea why I am getting this problem.

Cheers.

yes but the temp memory is on the phone i think and it would go into the temp memory until it is completely transferred then written over to the memory card

no, I doubt temp memory on the phone is used. I've bt'd bigger than 12 MB to my K700, never tried on the K750 (too time consuming)

nope it does store it in a temp folder within the phone memory until the file is completley transfered. it then places it on the mem card for storage.

Don't know if it relates much, but the bt max folder size on my p900 is around the 7 - 8meg mark. Iv'e tried bting approx 12megs and get the same memory message.
