Is it possible to have more than one person in a phonecall without joining o2 group calls? I can see the join calls option on my handset but everytime I try It fails. I don't want to diall 323 or whatever it is when i just want to add two people to call. If you don't understand what I mean just ask

no it is not possible. the only way for it to work is to contact o2 and ask them to switch the feature on. also i think it is only available on contract (not 100 per cent sure, only 95 per cent)
