> Does branding affect settings?

My new k750 is Vodaphone branded, but I'm not on a Vodaphone plan. Whenever I try to connect to the internet through the phone or send an MMS it says that a connection can't be made. My old Nokia definitely could send MMS and connect to the Internet, so I contacted my service provider and had the settings sent to me, but I still can't connect. So my question is - is the Vodaphone branding stopping me from connecting with a different provider?

Are you manually able to edit or enter in a new profile? If yes, i think it should work...

The SE website allows you to update the settings - you pick your phone model and network, and it sends the correct settings through in a text.
Don't know if the Voda branding will prevent you from updating the settings for a different, but as its free, it doesn't hurt to try

you don't need to unbrand you phone.
You need to go into the connectivity settings, internet profiles, and make sure the new internet profile is selected. You also need to go into messages, settings, picture message and make sure internet profile has the new mms settings selected.
Example my operator is Optus, so I have Optus Internet selected for internet profiles in the internet settings, and Optus MMS selected for internet profiles in the message settings.
Should all be hunky dory if you have it set like that.
