Maybe due to signal fluctuation, as David says. And paranoia's good, i managed to spot 3 C.I.A. agents tailing me today :-)

The battery meter on the W800/K750 will get dragged down after certain activities, but will often recover if you just leave it alone in standby for a minute, even without turning it off and on. That's what I've found at least.

I have noticed this as well. When I'm in London (obviously no probs with signal) the battery-life of my phone is fine. When I spend time in my house out in the sticks in rural Sweden (signal between one and no bars), the battery can often run out within a day, beacause the phone is constantly working on picking up a signal.

The battery university site (http://www.batteryuniversity.com/partone-12.htm) says hot li-ion batteries read a lower voltage.
When you make a call the phone gets hot, so this may be the answer.
Once it cools the charge could recover.

How accurate are the battery indicators on phones?
..i've noticed quite a few times that the battery lasts for a few hours after it is supposed to be completely discharged!
Edit: This is my 6000th post!! woohoo!
