> Unlocked k750i - Invalid SIM

This problem started yesterday afternoon. All of a sudden I get an "Inactive SIM' message. Today I tried it with a new O2 sim and an orange sim. I get the same thing. What can be the problem?

You can try shutting off GPRS. If it's just that which is mucked up you can still use the phone. Settings > Connectivity > Data Comm > Preffered Service.

I've had the phone since June. It worked just fine until a couple of days ago. Checked this morning and still can't' use it
it has a little phone icon at the top with a red slash across it. Can't use it for anything at all.

Did it come from a service provider when you took out a contract, or did you buy it sim free, for example off Ebay or a phone shop?
I'd phone the service provider if you got it from them, or go back to the phone shop or Ebay seller, etc.
Failing that contact SE, as the phone will still be in it's warranty period.

This would normally come up if the sim was no longer active as if the contract had been terminated or if you hadnt used a payg sim for a long time. Have you tried your sim in another phone?
