I've tried the search but no luck...

Basically, out of nowhere, my P910 touch screen has just stopped working!! I've had it for just over a year now and I've had absoloutley no probs with it!

It hasnt been dropped or anything that would cause my baby harm!! I'm devastated!

Is there anything that could be done to sort this?

Appreciate all help.

Thanks

Hi, I've tried taking the battery out etc...

I dont want to try a master reset as the things I have on the phone are priceless ie. family pics etc!!

I have a service centre close by...

Do you think they'll be able to sort it??

Many Thanks

this happened to me and two pals, each time it was due to a small bit of grit that had got lodged between the screen and the housing at the edge of the screen. This made the phone think the screen was being pressed at this point all of the time, preventing it from registering any other presses. Easily solved by passing the corner of a piece of card or paper around the edge between the screen and the housing.
Hope this helps.

@Matt,

Thanks for the help mate. But, I've (almost) got it sorted! Took the phone to the Cpw Service Centre in Leeds and they checked and the phones got 10 days of its warranty left so I'm gettin a brand new screen for free!!!!

Now thats a relief!!

Thanks to those who replied.

Cheers!!
