On computers is there a way to either bypass the login or get to a password recovery option? Cause my comps been down and now i dont remember the pw

Start the PC as normal and keep tapping the F8 key. Depending on your computer, you might get a boot menu appearing. If you do' choose to boot from the hard drive and immediately keep tapping F8. Eventually, you will see the windows startup menu. Select 'safe mode'.
When the windows welcome screen appears, log in as 'administrator'. If the administrator account requires a password (it doesn't normally unless you've set one for it) and you don't know what it is, then you're out of luck! The only option is to reinstall windows
If it lets you into windows, however, click on 'start', then run, then type in 'control userpasswords2' (without the quotes) and press enter. A window will pop up listing all of the users on the PC. Select your username and click the 'reset password' button. The rest is self-expainatory, although it's worth noting that if you want to remove the password altogether rather than setting a new one, just leave both password fields blank.
Click OK on the reset password window, then on the control userpasswords window and then Reboot the PC into normal mode. Job's a good 'un
