> psp 32mb memory card in phone

my friend has an nec 616 and his brother recently bought a psp and 512mb card, so he gave the 32mb card that came with the psp to my friend...
Anyway, we tried putting mp3's onto his phone as he says its mp3 compatible, so we put the memory card into the psp, and drag+drop as usual onto the memory card, then we put the memory card back into the phone, but the phone didnt show that there was any songs on the card...
is there anything were doing wrong???

the 616 only plays WMA files, and it'll only take up to 128mb anyway, memory stick duo.

we converted it to .WMA using audio converter all in one and did the same thing that we did before, but its not working still, any suggestions?
