New Sony Ericsson phones have Disc2Phone, and did not come out the same time as the Sony Ericsson K750. I'm so annoyed of transfering(formating) WMA's into MP3's, ~ will it work? I also have many other questions for this phone. How much GB's can you put in it, can it take Memory Stick Duo Pro*? Or just Memory Stick Duo? How long can the K750i last (battery life) when playing MP3's?(is it like the W800?- they said the W800 can last up to 30 hours! can the K750i do that?)
I know you guys think I'm very stupid, but I'm just 13 years old. I'm just exploring my K750i! Well I have to go... Bye, KLG2992

Disc2phone does the trick, but there are some other good encoders like itunes and dbpoweramp which allow you to use the aac format (smaller file size for the same quality).

You can put 2GB memory stick duo pro in the K750, and the 4GB when it comes out. The phone can use ms duo or duo pro.

The battery gives about 12-15 hours of mp3 player use. The W800 gives 30 hours of mp3 player when flight mode is in use (flight mode saves power by shutting of power to the phone ie: it turns the phone off, but not the mp3player), and about 12-15 hours when flight mode is not used.

All good questions, not stupid at all

you can get gps receivers with bluetooth - then use a java client on the phone to manage the gps unit.

..and you can get the W800 flight mode functions, just... by flashing your K750 with the W800 firmware.

Please search in the forum to know how to..

Beware: not officially allowed by , but possibile!

So what do you use to convert mp3's to aac and what would be the most appropriate settings?

I use Nero wave editor to encode to mp3 with a 128k bitrate...

But since the K750i plays mp4 (Nero digital format) well Nero is the answer all around really even for movies/clips etc....

I have Nero reloaded full retail version and it is limited to 30 uses of its mp3 pro encoder... The plugin can be purchased at ww2.nero.com

I use a 3gp converter called Multimedia converter pro 2.0 works a treat.

All my conversions play like a dream... Audio is massive and Video is not pixelated in any way 3gp or mp4 alike...
