> w800i + k750i USB cables

are the usb cables with the w800i and the k750i different? i have installed a k750i on my pc then i tryed to use my w800i on the same pc and it didnt regonise it. any ideas?

From what i know, the actual USB cables are the same (DCU-60), but the driver software is different - i.e. you'll need to install the w800i software from the CD which came with your phone (or find the USB driver from sonyericsson.com), as well as the k750i driver software in order to be able to use both the phones on one computer.
Someone correct me if i am mistaken.

dats rite, the software is diff for both phones!
if u have xp, it will automatically install drivers but thats it, u need 2 install software to use it for that fone

I'm not sure lads, When I downloaded the drivers for my K750i a few months ago, it was called a K750/W800 driver. When I got my W800i last weekend I plugged it straight into my PC with the old K750 DCU-60?? Maybe someone who is a little more technical can help you because it should definitely work without any additional software.

The drivers to use the Online Update Service the K750i and W800i use the same drivers but if you are wanting to use the sync software or file manager then the drivers are different.
