I've been readin this forum for ages and have just joined up yesterday, i'm basically startin a new topic because i have a decision in front of me and would like some opinions, My contract has recently expired and i would like to buy a new phone, i am looking at the p910i or the w800i, i like gadgets and phones that do a lot ov stuff, i would love a phone that wud allow you to control ya tv and hi fi, i kno this can be done on the p910i, can it be done on the w800i????
The P910i will cost me about 10 pounds a month more than the w800i,
Which phone would you say is better and why????

Go for the W800i mate, its a lot neater and better camera, you can't do as much as you can on the P910i, but there's a new one coming out soon, do a search for Hermione to find out.

Thats a difficult decision, and there is quite a few threads floating around on similiar "what shall I do" topics.
I've had the P910i since around the time it has been released and the previous models, and love the phone. But ask yourself this:
Would you like a big smartphone ?
or a small multimedia one?
I have recently aquired the W800i's brother the K750i and love it! But feature wise it depends on what you are looking for?
Retro design, high memory, with easy to use music player and 2mp camera. Fun, multimedia, compact.
Classic design, good memory with integrated organiser, touch screen and crap camera. Business orientated, smartphone, for what it does the size is reasonable.
Since the release of the new smartphone is nearly upon us, personally I would say go for the W800i for now, and when the P1000/P950/Hermione is released, think about that for your upgrade.
The decision is yours.

Down to you, I had a P900, then went for an S700, I had it for about 1 month before I went and got a P910. I couldn't do without a Smartphone with touch screen and all the other features.
Point is, is that people have there own prefrence and adapt to certain types of phone.
You could get the W800 but in a few months the Nokia N91 may be out with the 4GB hardrive.
You could get the P910, but in a few months the new P950/100 may be out.
On another note, the W800 casing is very easily marked and stained, All the ones I have seen have become very grotty.
The K750 however, does all the same things as the W800 and looks 10 times better, the only main difference being it can't play music with the phone function switched off.
Decisions decisions...

Like others have said it depends on what you want.
I have the p910i and have recently bought the w800i. There are some things I miss when I am don't have my p910 on me such as the touch screen, as it is so easy to do simple things, like highlighting text to copy and paste! I really miss that.
However I love the w800 for the camera, size of the phone and being able to text easily with one have while walking. (Keypad broke on my p910 so i would have to use the stylus
)
Both are good phones.

I have a similar decision to make. I currently have a P910, but I have had it for almost a year and really need a new toy. I would like to have the W800, but I think what I'm going to do is to wait and see what the "Hermione" or "P950" is like. It should be smaller than P910 and look sleeker, but with more features than W800. Only problem is that I don't know how long I can wait...

P910i or W800i why not get em both? Only if you can afford to ofcourse. I love the W800i had one for a week to checkout and although the one i had was abit creaky i still miss having it. The P910i is in a different league altogether does everything except take good quality pictures and its got no FM radio, However it beats the W800i in every other department. Its a hard decision to make so Goodluck to ya.
