> W800 records conversation only from contacts?
Bookmark topic
Hello...
After a while thinking my phone was wrong beacause it didn't recorded any conversations, I found out that it did record those that were made to contacts already in my contacts list. Is this meant to work like this?
When I try to record another conversation a "tee doo" sound is made and I'm not presented with the recording interfase; unless I'm calling, as I say, one of my contacts.
And I haven't tried but... if someone calls me and he's not on my CList, can I record the call?
Thanks.

Well... I called SE, and after half an hour they told me what I found out, that you are only meant to record calls made / received from persons on your contact list.

damn, seems they have blocked it maybe as a privacy measure? If they allow you to record the call of a perfect stranger (ie: someone not in your contact list) they might be worried it will reflect back on SE.
A bit like the reasoning they use to prevent disabling of the camera shutter.
Irritating..

Anyway... there are two ways to record any conversation:
1) add him / her before calling to your contact list! (obvious!)
2) when talking... go to main menu, entertaiment, record sound... this will 'manually' record any conversation!
Hope i'm being helpfull

if you can record it manually that's okay.
