Hey everybody,
I'm trying to update my K750i to the latest firmware, and I'm getting a strange problem. I've updated this phone before to R1J002 with no problems, but now when I'm trying to update to R1N035, SEUS updates the phone to 43% and then jumps to 46%, then errors out with "error in communication with the device" and I have to take out the battery to get my phone functioning again. It then tells me to start the update over, but of course the same stuff happens.
I check to see if my phone still works--and it does. The phone firmware has been updated, but the CAMERA software has not been, so now I'm stuck with only the phone! The camera no longer works--when i try to activate it, it says the camera software is too old and needs to be upgraded, but I can't because SEUS wont update it!
So, apparently for me, the SEUS upgrade hangs on the flashing of the camera software, while the phone firmware upgrade completes. Anyone have any suggestions or experience something similar? Help is appreciated!

save your contacts and important data and try recovery mode.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention.
I've tried a settings master reset, a full master reset, and recovery mode (which actually seems to just be the normal update mode when it realizes your phone is still responsive). Basically, my phone is clean right now, like it came from the factory, and it wont update

Check to see if you have two files in the following folder on your PC:
C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\software-data
I have these files:
Size: 1,338,890 Filename: HL1_125953-APAC1-MR2_000000_0000_R1N035
Size: 11,792,287 Filename: HL1_125954-CHINA-MR2_000000_0000_R1N035
Yours might be slightly different; these are for a Hong-Kong supplied K750i...

my case is a little different. I use SEUS to try and update, and around 50% somewhere, it skipped all the way to 100% and said its done. After that, my phone doesnt turn on and I have to remove and re-insert the battery. When it's back on, I do the ">*
Whats up, ive got this twice now. I tried 3 times, 1 time the phone went crazy and wouldnt turn on. I had to do the SE recovery a few times to even get it to work... maybe its just stupid noob mistakes im making that screws it up but im scared to ever try SEUS again >.
p.s. - i have a kong kong phone
