First time I have ever used dial up on my p800 as in the long run it's gonna work out cheaper paying per minute by per mb. However, it just doesn't work. I have all the right settings on the phone, and am using an 02 PAYG online sim but all it does is dial for ages and not get answered.
It also charges me while it's dialling, but just no connection. Has anyone got any ideas or shall I just ring O2?

how come you get charger while dialing? Are you sure the phone uses the GPRS connection? If there's a internet account with full acces on all ports (not just wap), it should be used by the dial up connection. Are you able to browse full html pages on your phone? If not, you should call the customer service and ask for directions. You need a proper internet connection, not just wap. What is the dialed number of your dial-up connection?
