Microsoft has announced that you will no longer require a credit card to access their live service, As monthly, quarterly and yearly subscriptions can now be bought from Game stores, Prices for the GOLD service start from £4.99 for 1 month, £14.99 for 3 months, and £39.99 for the year. The SILVER service as you may know by now is completely free. My apologies if this has been posted already.
