> Walkman player thru the loudspeaker

Is the volume really this low? If I play a song thru the loudspeaker, it's barely audible unless I turn the volume to max setting. Also, bass and higher frequency notes are so weak that all I hear is the song's vocals.

Something wrong with the speaker I think. Mine has plenty of volume and treble, but you're not going to get a lot of bass from something this small.
