After speaking too my mate who works in Gamestation he told me that when the UK PSPs get overheated the screen shatters. This is due the release date was rushed. This does not occur with all PSPs though so be careful.

it may be true at the screen may not be able to take heat. the screen may melt but shatter is a totally different matter but the screen may still shatter

you mate needs to get his facts right, and to think he works in a game shop.

Is he sure that a customer didn't return a PSP somewhere saying that the screen 'shattered all by itself' in order to get a replacement under warranty?
