Say, for example, when you click the more button, the whole middle of the phone screen goes a dark gray except the pop-up box. I have a theme that really shows this up and would like to know if there was any way of removing or stopping the phone from darkening the rest of the phones screen gray.

thats good that it does that, it is showing you that that is the unactive window mate... i would be unhappy if it didnt do that

It would look good if the gray screen covered everything but the active window, but it doesnt. It keeps the very top and bottom of the screen in colour, the middle in gray and the active window in colour.

I think that's the design of the theme - my K750 doesn't do what you describe - it shows the background screen - but that's because I assigned one when I built the theme.
