I need an adaptor to adapt a 2.5mm plug to a standard 3.5mm socket and it seems hard to find although adaptors to convert a 3.5mm plug to a 2.5mm socket are widely available.

anyone know where to find one?

for interest, I got a pokia (yeah, I know.... ) and it comes with a 2.5mm plug. This would have plugged into my old Jam no problem but the JasJar and the adaptor I have for the K750 have 3.5mm sockets

edit: btw, I have found some stereo 2.5mm socket to 3.5mm plug adaptors but they don't seem to convey the microphone connection so while they work fine for the headset part the other party can't hear a word I say!

I've got several 3.5mm socket to 2.5mm jack adaptors from my P series and JAM days but can't find anything so that I can plug this Pokia into my 3.5mm sockets!

all help appreciated as I wanna pull this baby out in the office one soon day for a laugh

I would have thought Maplin would have sold them, but if not, how about splicing together one yourself?
Btw, love the handset, may have to make a pair of big can headphones with full curly flex for my w800!

a handy man I am not, unfortunately

I got one of these for my brothers recent birthday and also got an adaptor for his Nokia 6230 and it was so much fun I had to get one for myself. they just don't supply an adaptor for 3.5mm which is a little frustrating

Approximately 3 months ago I was looking for the opposite of what you're looking for, and I was offered what you are looking for now (i.e. 2.5mm > 3.5mm) I can't remember the name of the shop, but it is on Tottenham Court Road. If you are coming from Centrepoint up towards Goodge Street (and you're on Tottenham Court Road) it's just past the first pub on your right hand side. The shop is roughly located within the red circle on the map below.

I know TCR fairly well and I think I know the shop your talking about (I certainly know the pub) so I'll head up there on Monday and check it out.

thanks for the tip!

So you want to use something that is 2.5mm....in a 3.5mm socket? or the other way round, i just want to clear this up... As i have a cable which allows you to use 3.5mm plugs in 2.5mm sockets!
