Is there such a thing, will there ever be such a thing? It cant be too hard if you get laptop pcmcia 3g cards so I am sure they can bundle it into an sd card. Anyon know anything about this?

I haven't even seen a 3g compact flash card yet and that usually comes before the equivalent SD card so I think at the moment its unlikely

The technology is there:

I think however that the fact that this is £400+ gives an idea of how outragous a 3gb ms duo would, let alone a 6gd one!!!!!

you seem to have mistaken 3g for 3gb.

3g is a communications protocol/standard whereas 3gb is a storage capacity

as I understand it from the information given, this thread is discussing 3g, not 3gb

@masseur - You certainly got it right mate. Thats what I am after, lol. But thanks a lot for the other help, maybe i can keep the whole internet(or 1 site) in my pocket instead of having 3g then with that capacity. - So is the the 3G technology in an sd or cf card available?

I guess the ideo would be that you plug the 3g SD card into your laptop or PDA and, at the very least, have a much faster data connection than GPRS can offer.

I guess with the right software to go with it you could even implement video calling
