Don't actually own a PDA yet. Is there a need with all the functions the T68 can do?

I own a Palm V and a Compaq iPAQ. The Palm is easier to use, the iPAQ I'm using because I'm developing software for it. But it's clumsy to use, so until now I stayed with the Palm for private and business use. But I must admit, since I'm using the T68 there seems to be no need for both of PDAs any more...
I enter all my appointments in the T68. It's only missing the ability to store postal adresses for phonebook entries. If /// does that for software R2 next year, I'll sell the Palm and gibe the iPAQ back to my employer.

I have a Compaq iPAQ 3650 and I have the 3870 with bluetooth on order. Tried using Running Voice the GSM manager last night and it looks like a very promissing application didn't really get into it but I will tonight.

UPDATE;
check out Tom's tip in PALM OS beaming to T68

I tried IR-beaming with any imaginable app on my CLIE S300 OS 3.5.1(send AND receive) and it can't seem to find the T68. Altough I an perfectly connect from my Psion Revo to the T68, making SMS on revo and sending it through the T68 for example works greats.

I used a IR-monitor on my CLIE and when the T68 beams, it indicates that it accesses the IR-port but the T68 and Palm don't seem to recognize each other. Phew, just to say; has anybody any luck wth beaming backgrounds, calendars, images,...?

thanks

I have not got a PDA but was thinking of getting one but then thought why!! As the T68 does most of the stuff anyway!!

I was thinking about a Sony color jobbie!

The Sony CLie 710C-770C is the best one to get at the moment, but if you can hold for a couple of months the new one should arrive-very thin-, the colorversion of the T415, probably something called T610c, or so.

Check out: http://www.palminfocenter.com/view_Story.asp?ID=2654

I currently own one of the first Clie's PEG s300, and I'm gonna wait for a while to see what the T600 can pull off and what wonderfull things SoyEricsson will be throwing at us next year.

I have a Casio E-115 PocketPC, and I seem to
have quiet the same problem with transfer
things to my T68 as for Palm users, the E115 will not detect the Phone. I tried to set the speed of the IR port to 19200 wich is the lowest on PocketPC.
And then I'm trying the set my T68 to receive a background picture, but no luck.
The only thing that works is to use GPRS and
Explorer on the E115, mail I haven't tried.
Another problem is to sync Avantgo, if
I try that the T68 restarts.

Donīt own a PDA today (except my old R380).
But I do intend to get my hands on a iPaq 3870 with Bluetooth....
(hopefully I can get my employer to pay for it...though it can be tricky these days...)

TO FREDDY

maybe you can try ZboxZ, because it contains versions for a lot of OS's, I'm not sure if PPC is included. I can't check it because I'm not at home.

You can download it at ww.palmgear.com

Good luck
