When my bro got a k700i, i was wondering wat was going on with the phone! But when i got my K750i...the same thing happens and i had to ask...

Why does a file sound so loud when kept as a ringtone but it is hardly audible when played normally?? what gets changed?? because of the vibrator? any logical explaination for it??
IMO if this is a feature, it rocks...

yeah thats a feature, even if u play the file in media player, it wont be as loud as it is as a ringtone...

but I think this doesnt really rock, I mean, if the phone has the capacity to play ringtones as loud as that, why cant we play tones in that loudness without setting them as ringtones?

Maybe it could damage the speaker if used too long

Agreed. Well they could atleast increase the volume a little more and without us changing the equalizer settings and then also imply this feature with it.
Though i am very happy with this feature, its certainly louder than other phones...
