Dear All,
please help, whenever i am on the phone to some-one and someone else is trying to call me i dont know until after the call when i get a voicemail. and sometimes people dont leave voicemails so i dont know who called, plus it does not show it on a missed call when i have hung up.
However my txt mesages come through when i am talking to someone else. Please if anyone knows....help x

If you are on pay as you go then i dont think call-waiting is possible but if you are on contract then you can call them up and request the feature.
If you are on pay as you go, the best option is called call alert. This is like the orange feature where you will get a free text message if you miss a call, someone tries calling you while you are on the phone or if your phone is switched of, or for whatever reason you can't answer you phone. They will text you with a time and the number of who tried calling you.
It is a free service.
To activate call 1710 from your phone.

Note: If using this feature, you have to de-activate/not use Voicemail 901.

Ive found that you need to go into the phone menu (the one in the speed dial screen).
Select Edit menu, preferences, call waiting. heres some screen shots.
