I was shopping today, and i saw Aibo... i mean, ive seen it before and all... but i just started thinking, maybe i should buy one. i dont know anybody with one, so i cant play with it before i buy one, and i know its a big buy, but i wanted everyones opinion on buying the Aibo. I would liek anyones personal experience with one. I wont go out and buy it tomorrow or anything, it will be a few months, but im seriously considering it... what do you all think?

maybe he has donated already why make him feel he must give his money to them. people still have to live and buy things for themselves. if he wants to donate i am sure he knows how. and does not need you to tell him to donate. or am i being an ass about this ?

@ADT0079 thank you, and your right. last year, rigth wehre i live got hit BAD with 3 hurricanes, and got hit by a few more, just kind of bad, we were direct hits of 3 or more. my car got smashed by a tree, and part of my roof fell in... and you know what? i got ho help... no donations from anyone, no help from anyone, i repauired everything to the house myself, with money oyut of my picket. FEMA didnt help, and no donations helped me. (insurance did help with my car however).
so @peeta... why dont you get 2000 bucks together and send it to the damn hurricane victims, okay? i got messed up by the hurricanes, maybe not as bad as new orleans did, but i still got messed up, and they didnt do shit for us here. no offence, and i dont mean to start a flame war, and people gettin mad at me and all, but im not gonna make donations knowing its not gonna help anyone. more than half of the money is just going other peoples pocket. honestly, aboyt 65% if this donation crap is all a scam, it helps pay for workers there, and if u donate 50 bucks, only about 10 bucks will go to anything. im making no sence, i know, but im not gonna help while i got no help, ya know? sorry for sounding liek an ass... but thats just how i feel...

Ok, lets get back on topic. I have always liked the aibo because of the fact that you can change his personality from usual to party by inserting a mem stick. I think that is really cool. The best advice i can give you is, if you want it, get it! This message was posted from a Z1010

Have never really liked the Aibo to be really honest.
Though have always wanted a robo-sapien.

But we all enjoy toys, so if you really do want one then get one.

the robo-sapians are cool too!! they kind of freak me out haha, but i guess its the same idea. i wish i could play with one before i buy it, but thats why im here askin everyone haha.

My wants

1 - SONY Qrio (Humaniod)
2 - SONY Aibo (RoboDog)
3 - Robospien V2 (Humanoid)

My Logic

1 - Robospien V2 (Affordable US$300)
2 - SONY Aibo (Expensive, and to think about it.. buyin something so expensive and it does not meet my expectations, not worth the $$)
3 - SONY Qrio (SUper Expensive but worth every penny, very real like but sadly its not for sale)

If ur into animals might consider Robopet and Roboraptor... same breed from Robosapien... both is advance for the affordable price to pay.. might just try it out.. GDluck!!
