So firmware R1N035 was released for the K750 now, fixing the discussed video-recording issue. I too was quite disappointed to see the lousy video-recording quality on my W800, after having watched examples online that were MUCH better. So it’s cool a new firmware is released to fix it for the K750.
I want this to be fixed on my W800 as well. Does anyone know anything about when a fix/similiar firmware can be expected for the W800?

In case others were wondering, reply from Sony Ericsson:

"At the moment there is no information as to when a new version of software will be available for Sony Ericsson W800i and what issues this will contain. As soon as an update will be available the software will be available on Update Service on our website."

This sucks big hairy nuts. Almost think I should have waited buying the W800i... almost.

Many W800 users are waiting for this too and im pretty sure that we will be having our update in one week or so. I will be checking support page every day.

Here you can DOWNLOAD MY EU4_R1N035 readout.

I flashed it back to my W800i and worked. If someone could test it on a different W800i or K750i would be nice. thanks
