Welcome to Esato.

Looks like you have an Orange branded handset.....you would need to de-brand it and then get it flashed with SE generic firmware to be able to make the Orange stuff go away ( mind you...this would render the warranty useless) ...all the best

Unfortunately ....there is no other way than de-branding..
As I understand it, there are quite a few phone shops that should be able tocarry out this process for you at a charge

Try this link for more information www.aboveconnection.co.uk

Or you could just install the opera browser instead, included with the application CD you should have got with the phone. Use that to browse instead of the horrid orange browser!

If you didn't get opera on your CDs, you can download it (on your PC to install on the phone via the sync station) from here:

http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/products/

Doesn't sort out the startup and shutdown screen problem, but it's a much better browser anyway

Agile does tend to be a tad slow , although its an excellent IM app.....
Personally I prefer Verichat to Agile Messenger, and find it to be much faster than Agile...You can download Verichat from http://www.pdaapps.com

On the other hand, Agile is available for a one-off charge of EUR19.95 and has a universal PTT feature, whilst Verichat costs $24.95 for the first year **and $19.95 per annum forever thereafter!**

Also, Verichat's PTT feature only works Verichat to Verichat only apparently.

There's another IM app, jMSN Pro, which is available for £15.70:

I've just succesfully unlocked an Orange P910i but I've been told by the support at the totalserver site I used that it is not possible to de-brand a P910i...

... anyone got any experience that suggests different?

:-?
