I finally upgraded my firmware
thanks to everybody who offered help and to happycheescake for offering to upload previous firmware.

I just tried upgrading again and it worked
I just did a standard update and noticed it downloaded the firmware again even though I had it but this time name was different it downloaded an extra file so 3 files for firmware:
HL1_125953-CHINESE-MR2_000000_0003_R1N035

anyways I'm not sure if sony finally fixed it or not but what I did was I tried something mentioned here I held the C button for the whole process,

although it did freeze at 55% again for about a minute or two and i thought I was screwed but then it finished the update and now my camera works again

anyways sorry for a new topic but other topics were messy so I made this so people who were as frusterated as I was can see it

so try update again normal update it should download a new file
and hold c button down for whole process just in case even if it freezes for some time,

good luck guys I feel so relieved after days of agony hope it finally works for you too
