I've recently bought a K750i and have seen on this board that several users have experienced problems with their bluetooth headsets.

Can anyone recommend a headset for the k750i?

Well, here's a list of Bluetooth headsets I've tried with my R1L & R1N K750i's.

HBH-660 - BT 1.1 - Displays incoming contact details
Yuk. Worked fine with my T630 & P910; just doesn't like either of my K750i's.

HBH-662 - BT 1.2 - Displays incoming contact details
Better than the 660. Doesn't seem to disconnect as much (!) Also can pair with up to 7 different devices. Audio appears to be worse than the 660.

HBH-608 - BT 1.2
Nice. Thinner than the 660/662 headsets. Been testing for a few days and it's stayed connected. Good audio too. Need to test "in the field" more before I can say if its okay.

HBH-610 - BT 2.0 - not available 'til Oct.
The dogs bollards. Lots of noise reduction features and BT2 to boot. Best audio going, but its expensive.

Recommended - HBH-608 headset. Its stayed connected to my R1L K750i phone for three days now. Audio is far better than the HBH-662, and its cheaper.

Made over 90 minutes worth of calls and even the old man reckoned I sounded clearer over the phone...

Hey Leviath, I don't actually work for you know. Its just I happen to have those headsets laying around @ home and can give an opinion on them.

personally I would choose the jabra bt800, I haven't used any other headsets apart from a plantronics one which lets face it isnt comparable! The jabra works perfectly with my K750i (O2, R1L), K700i, 6230i and E1000 - the vibrate function is pretty gd and the caller ID on the screen is useful, its small and comfortable and the sound quality is excellent. Also contrary to many reviews, I have experienced no lags whilst picking up calls on the headset.

If you are in the UK and you have an ALDI nearbye i can recommend the Tevion BT headset they have for £19.99 at the moment. It comes with all the accessories you can think of and works great with the K750i.Brilliant value for money.
