Bluetooth Remote Control tool updated to 1.10

Quote:The Bluetooth Remote Control tool now supports the W600, W550, Z520, K750, W800 and K600 Sony Ericsson phones, extending the number of mobile phones that can use this popular tool.

The Bluetooth Remote Control tool enables you to use your Sony Ericsson Bluetooth-enabled phone to remotely control your computer keyboard and mouse functions.

This feature has been available since the introduction of the K700 series which supports the industry standard Human Interface Device (HID) profile. By combining the power of these technologies, your mobile phone becomes a powerful, yet simple, real-time remote control for Windows or Mac applications.

cjjong,

alrite, make sure ur phone bluetooth is on and have to pair with ur computer first of all..

i assume if you using K750i or K700i.. doesn't matter but at least you are using these se phone..

next, i need to ask you what brand of bluetooth dongle are you using? This is because different type of brands giving different types of functions. Please check if your bluetooth dongle support HID . ( Human Intelligent Device ). If that is yes then try to go to Control Panel and find bluetooth.

When you click the bluetooth, then you should open a window and displaying the Phones that you have connected. Remember again you have to link ( pair the phone with the PC to works ). then try to click the phone icon you pair and go to properties.. Next you shall seeing the General and Services Tab.. Click the services tab and you can to put a tick on

"Drivers for Keyboard, Mouse etc (HID) "

when you press apply and the phone will ask you either to start remote control.. and here you go.. control ur PC within ur phone.. hope you understand that..

Hi, I am using a K750i, and a Logitech Bluetooth hub, which came with my mouse and keyboard. When I'm trying to connect to my computer with the Remote Control, I can apparently connect, but when the interface shows up, and I press a button / move the joystick, nothing happens on the computer, and the phone screen says "Connecting remote control". Then the message disappears from the phone, and I am back to the starting spot.
Long story short: I can't use the remote control.
Anyone want to help?

@Leviath
Sorry pal but you are wrong too, the correct is: "Human Interface Device" (HID)

1st of all Thanx so much babysmile for the instruction.

But i think my bluetooth is having problem. I'm using K750i and my bluetooth dongle is MSI (ver.254). This bluetooth quite troublesome. Must use driver from MSI. So by following your instruction I wasn't able to add my K750i to the PC with [Bluetooth Device] icon. I can only access my bluetooth with [Bluetooth Config] icon.

This dongle supports HID. But i really have no idea how to link up my phone with the PC for the bluetooth remote function. File transfer and all other things work just fine...

Any idea?
