> USA Cingular w800i users - how's the reception?

I'm very close to getting a w800i for myself but I keep reading things about how because of the bands it uses that it may not work well on the Cingular network (which I have). I'm dying to get this phone because of the features, but it's gonna suck if it doesn't work well at its primary function - as a phone!
Even better if you live in the DC area, since that's where I am, but any feedback is appreciated.

its abotu the k750, but i believe they use the same bands. i believe the w800i doesnt use the 850 band, so it will mainly rely on the 1900 band, and cingular is based on the 850 band... so... i have no personal experience, but i believe the reception wont be that great... :-
