how do i save a business card sent by a nokia user to my phonebook if it's sent through sms? tnx

tried that but it saves the business card contact as an sms in my sim. what i would like to find out is if i can save it as a contact in my phonebook. thanks for the suggestion anyway.

far as i know its not a straight save to your phonebook, involves editing the message and saving, via use of the 'unsaved numbers' feature i think...previous message got sent without me finishing.

if the phonebook was sent in VCARD format, you can save it direct. not all nokia phones support VCARD format.

it was sent as a vcard, but there are no options for saving it directly to the phonebook.btw, i'm using a t68i r2b.

I have a t68i. When i recieve a vCard by SMS from a nokia user, all I can see is "data message" and cannot read the vcard, or save the contact to the phonebook!
The only way i can get the contact details is to press forward message, at which point i can see:
BEGIN:VCARD
VERSION:2.1
N:Joe Bloggs;TEL;CELL:5554545
END:VCARD
I then have to write down the number and manually enter it on my phone!
This is clearly a fault with the t68i. Looking at the spec's I am not even sure a T68i is designed to recieve and process vCards sent by SMS, as the ericsson white paper only mentions vcards being sent by MMS.
Excerpt from paper:
"Business card (vCard)
With MMS in the T68i, the user can send his/her
business card."

how strange, it appears that if i forward the vcard sms to back to my own phone then i get the "contact recieved" notification and the option to store straight to my phonebook!
obviously not an ideal situation, as I pay to forward the sms back to myself.

if i am not mistaken, ericsson vCard still using 1.2 or 1.2.1. maybe that's make the different if nokia use higher version vCard software than Ericsson.
but weird...... vCard is first introduce by ericsson from thier PIM(Personel Information Manager). how come Nokia have the Vcard function?? they copy again?
