Hi again.

It was my brithday yesterday, hence all these gadgetry nightmares!

Big issues getting TomTom (500) to set up a wireless net connection via my P910 for the traffic service to work. A few months back I left Vodafone for O2 and got an XDA IIi. The XDA is soooooo pants I have very quickly come back to my P910, only I now have an O2 sim in a Vodafone handset although everything works fine, messages, internet, calls etc... issue free.

TomTom however refuses to establish a wireless internet connection via my P910 even though I have tried every alternative and input the connection settings manually.

I'd hate to think its just cos its a voda branded phone, cos all other services work fine. Any bright sparks out there that can think of anything else to try?

Happy birthday for yesterday!!!

I assume, when you say "wireless" you mean bluetooth, yeh?
If it worked via BT with your XDA then it must with your P910. Dont for get you'll need to search for new BT devices with you P910.

Does the GPRS work for general websites? - ie have you got the correct general settings for internet (not wap but full internet)?
Have you paid for the TomTom traffic info extra?
I also know TT have had problems recently with a server upgrade so traffic info was down recently (but thought it was working again).
I also believe the TT unit has an auto-setup that scans for discoverable bluetooth devices - does the autosetup see the P910?

Sorry for delay but thanks for the replies.

Basically I have got the traffic service on a months trial. The TT unit does see the P910 and it does pair with it, its literally just setting up the "wireless interent connection" that it doesnt seem to like with the P910 - the bluetooth element is fine.

The P910 although Voda Branded with voda firmware WILL connect to O2 Web, which is the full net/email service and it will browse the internet without any problem, this is why its confusing me as to it not liking a wireless net link via TT. Very strange.

My fiance's O2 issued K750i works a treat, once paired it just auto connects every time and works perfectly.

Today I have spoken to a place about flashing the P910 with generic software, hopefully this will help. Any other thoughts or questions?
