The HBH 610 is now available I have just purchased four, I am once agian completly frustraed and dissapointed with SE, they always seem toi improve one aspect of a product and screw up another, The Version 2.0 software seems to offer a much better connection with the phoone and the ear piece volume seems improved than on the hbh 300 but the noise cancellation is none existing. It shocking in the car. Why do they always get in wrong?????????????

There is nothing wrong of expecting a product to perform as advertised or as it is designed or intended for...
It is not your mistake and you havent done anything wrong....
Just return those and go for something else.... either that or wait a little bit longer....
I heard on the grapevine jabra have a license to produce BT 2.0 headsets.....
I am sure soon others will follow and the competition will force ever increasing quality on the finished products....
Just being the first to cross that line is not the most important... Crossing the line with style and quality is....

I bought a Jabra BT800 today and im actually very impressed! Paired perfectly with my K700i and my K750i and the caller id function works aswell. The sound quality is very good however I don't drive so can't say what the quality is like whilst driving. The build quality however doesn't seem to be the best.

I'm really hoping the ones you got were a fluke. I'd like to order one tomorrow but I'm looking for more feedback since sony has released some technology such as my navitus remote - tons of great technical possiblities but then they just buried it with no updates whatsoever.
If anyone else has tried the HBH-610s,
The things I'd like to know about if anyone has one is -
How is the volume in a noisey car? Can your callers hear you? Can you hear them?
How is the clarity? Do clients know you are on a headset? how do they sound?
Is there any echo?
Any issues with it dropping connection?
Does it answer immediately?
Is the loop and the earpiece comfortable?
Can you put eargels on the earpiece?
Have you tried it with any PDA/phones to test voice command?

My thoughts of a HBH-610 with an O2 K750i (R1L002) in the real world...
> How is the volume in a noisy car? Can your callers hear you? Can you hear them?
Yep.
> How is the clarity? Do clients know you are on a headset? how do they sound?
Yep.
> Is there any echo?
Nope.
> Any issues with it dropping connection?
Yep. Can't get it to stay connected for more than 5 minutes. Having a very "Leviath" issue with it! (sorry mate!)
> Does it answer immediately?
Yep. Assuming it stays connected.
> Is the loop and the earpiece comfortable?
Not bad. But I found the HBH-608 to be more comfortable.
> Can you put eargels on the earpiece?
I guess so. I'll supply a close-up picture or two and you can make your own mind up if you want!
> Have you tried it with any PDA/phones to test voice command?
Voice command. My favourite. Its no better than any other headset on the market and worse than the HBH-608...!

I too am disappointed with the HBH-610.
I find the earpiece sound quality very poor and I have trouble keeping it connected.
I may have a faulty unit?

I received my HBH-610 this friday and have made a few calls using it. Voice dialling works most of the time (but you have to say the voicetag name quite loud) as opposed to almost never with HBH-660. Haven't used it in the car, but when I'm outside people can hear me fine and I've gotten no complaints about wind issues. In the subway it works ok as well. It seems that the noice cancellation feature does work; it doesn't seem to filter noice away completely but make it a little bit muted and not so harsh which is nice for the person on the other end.
For me, using Z800, the connection hasn't dropped yet (40 hours and counting...). Battery life seems good too - charged it for the first time this friday and the batt. status says "medium".
