I have seen this expression in quite a few forums...just the word "bump" and don't know what it means...could someone explain? Thanks!

You being serious man? I didn't know that

A bump is basicallly blank reply, designed to move a topic up the list of topics on the board. For example a topic that is on page two could be 'bumped' back onto the first page.
