Nope. Try contacting Sony Ericsson consumer care

With Notes R5 you had to make sure that you put a copy of your notes.ini file into the Windows folder C:\WINNT (or at least, a folder listed in the %PATH% variable)
before you installed the sync software. Then it recognised that Lotus Notes was installed.

Thanks for that, but I have been there and done that. I have also hacked the registry to tell it that Notes 7 is 6, 5 and 4 and still no joy.
I have now installed Outlook 2003 and I get the message checkbox in the sysnc station settings, but still no Notes.
I called Sony Ericsson and they were as helpful as a chocolate teapot, seems I know more about this than they do and were suitably unhelpful saying that it does not sync with Notes (arf arf).
I am now runnng the Outlook/Exchange to Domino connector and syncing via that... shame I have now spent out $50 on a converter for my contacts... grrrr.
Again thanks for your help

I wrote a guide for the other administrators at work, on how to install P900 / P910's on our corporate system. You might find this useful.
Log in as user account:
1. Copy notes.ini file from D:\NOTES\useracc to C:\WINNT folder
2. Go into Control Panel -> Mail.
Add a Lotus Notes profile (remove MS Exchange if there) using the 'manual configure' option in the wizard.
Then add Lotus Notes in to delivery profile. User will need to type in Lotus Notes password when prompted.
Look in the Properties - you should see the details in there of the mail file location, etc.
Notes Username: First LASTNAME/SITE/GB/RM/Corp
Address Book: names.nsf
Mail file path: CN=SERVER-M02.......
Location name: Office (Network)
3. Open Lotus Notes and check that the mail file on the server is replicated with the local copy. Also make sure that replication is set to run every 15 minutes. Then exit Notes.
Log in as administrator:
4. Install software from SonyEricsson P900 PC Suite CD. Choose English PC Suite install.
Install into D:\Program Files\SonyEricsson folder. Choose Automatic install (installs everything)
5. After install, plug in syncstation into USB port and it will detect new hardware (twice). Both inf files are on the install CD.
Log in as user:
6. Connect phone to cradle and it will recognise it and prompt to name it - leave this as the defaults ("My P900") etc.
In the synchronisation wizard select 'Choose settings now'. You may get this error message (ignore it and continue):
"Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client. *Microsoft Outlook"
* Ignore any messages to back up phone at this point *
7. Set user specific settings:
Data Types:
Untick the boxes 'use default server & database settings'
Server: database: Options:
Contact: local names.nsf No other options
Calendar: local useracc.nsf Date ranges to sync
Tasks: local useracc.nsf All tasks or only pending tasks
Jotter: * DO NOT SYNCHRONISE *
Msgs: local useracc.nsf * see below
Options for Messaegs:
- Sync Inbox only, or Inbox, Draft & Sent items? (neither option syncs sub folders)
- Sync only a date range of emails or everything? (if everything untick both boxes)
- Maximum email size - 60Kb
- Maximum attachment size - 60Kb
Standard synchronisation:
- Leave all options as default.
Full synchronisation:
Select "Force full synchronisation" and click OK for it to fully sync everything for the first time.
8. Right click on grey phone icon at bottom right hand corner, and choose 'Synchronise'. This will run the first synchronisation and will take between 5 - 20 minutes depending on the amount of data that the user has in their Inbox, etc.
9. Once finished, right click on the phone icon and select 'Backup and Restore'. Go into the 'Options' and select
"Remind me to backup every": 30 days
"Save": 50 backups
Click OK then click on Backup button to begin backup. Phone will switch off while it is doing this.
Hope this helps.
