I would be very very wary. I tried a similar tool to unlock my P910i a while back -- and completely screwed the phone.

But what does work, cos I've tried it myself, is the remote service at http://www.totalmultiserver.com. It now supports the DSS-25 cradle too, so there's no need to buy the T28 service cable that most other solutions currently stipulate.
