Can this W800 playlists be organised using Disc2Phone? I've tried and it does not seem immediately obvious. If not, is there some third party software that would do the same?

disc2phone doesn't do it, and there are no third party apps either. You have to put your mp3's in folders (one folder per playlist) and copy those folder to the memory stick (put them in the mp3 folder)
then you can create playlist's on the w800 using those folders (add the whole folder to the playlist) - easier than selecting individual songs.
