> Help ! P910 display problem
Bookmark topic
Apologies if something already exists w.r.t. the following issue on the P910i.
Searching Esato, I could not find info. Please guide to the thread incase you know.
---------------------------
At times- its screen erraticly remains at half screen (like when flip is closed) thus rendering many functions & their use impposible.
At other times it remains at full screen even if Flip is closed.
(Making it susceptible to wrong key/icon press etc).
And at other times it just flickers like a worn out tubelight (for lack of better simily)
-----------------------------------
# I experienced these problems a few hours after I put the MSX- M1GN
for the first time last week. The One GB card was the ONLY different
thing that I did.
NO Dropping the phone, Contact with water etc. EVER happened.
# The issue persists upon removal of the 1GB Pro Duo too.
# Have done a Master Reset, Restart and all the usual things.
# It is under warranty yet, but I have yet not decided to invoke it
by going to the Service Centre.
# Would SEUS or something online at SE website help ?
Any constructive feedback appreciated...
Thanx

Hmmmm, doesn't sound good. But try removing the flip and checking the little button underneath that tells the phone the flip state. Check it isn't loose or jammed or anything.
This probably isn't the problem, but it's worth a look.

Thanx... Will try that too.. Am a bit clumsy in these things..
On the face of it, the thing looks okay... coz I tried pressing it when its flips open & it dint seem to be stuck or anything.

Thats only the battery thats made in Sweden......check the sticker on the inside of the phone under the battery
@jbm...is this a known problem with handsets manufactured in France... mine is Made in France too, but I have faced absolutely no issues with it since purchase *touchwood* ....
@sai...I think a reflash should revive it....Looks like that 1 gig MS PD you got for a rock bottom price has fried your phone

Yes.. but, the sticker on the phone doesn't say where its made.
Only the initial setup- lists Sweden as location
