> Mpeg 4 playing problem on w800i

There is already a file on the phone that is in .mp4 format.
So i converted a file with ImTOO converter from mpeg to mpeg 4....and yet it just comes up with a blank screen..well some random colour (i have tried it for multiple files.)
yet, when i click 'information' on the file, it says that it is .mp4 so i am not sure why these dont work and the file already on the phone does??
Any ideas? am i doign something wrong

Hi, i am also getting this problem a lot, i too have converted using a registered copy of IMTOO and also Smartmovie and it just comes up with a blank screen, reddish in colour - it a problem as 3GP convertions are not too good in quality but MP4's are - i ahve emailed S/E and am awaiting a response - will let you know what happens as soon as they come back to me-phils1969

You need to convert using the right settings, it wont work just converting to any format mp4.
Read this guide, its for Nero Recode which is a MUCH better encoder than IMtoo, but you can read which settings to use if you still want to use IMtoo. I highly reccomend using Nero Recode instead though.
