hi all... well i called o2 today to upgrade my phone and the chick on the on the line said i would have to pay £99 for the w800i!!!! then i proceeded to tell her i could get a new contract and pay only £29 at which point she said she could discount it by £50, making it £49.
anyhoo, i told her to put my 30 days notice thru to cancel my contract and i just ordered a new phone/contract on (the w800i for £29 and £19 a month contract), i also paid to have next day delivery.
right so my question is, i only got a welcome email and not a confirmation email that my order went thru or anything... has this happened to anyone else before and if so did you get your phone??? last time i ordered from them online i got a confirmation email almost immediately.
any inputs?

Try logging into your o2 online account and looking at your order history. If it went through ok you'll be able to check the status there. If it's not there, give them a call.

yeah i tried that and there is nothing there
just dont understand why it wouldnt have gone through... but will deffo give them a call in the morning

when i ordered my K750i back in june i didnt get a confirmation letter they said it was because the phone was out of stock so the email wud come when back in stock, this may be the case for you but ring them in the morning to check.

the same thing happened to me when I bought my phone from o2 online about a year ago, no confirmation email but my phone arrived a few days later despite having no confirmation email!

they offen dont send the confirmation email. I got a the k750 from them on a upgrade. The send its was be 79.99, i said i can get it for free if i get a new contract. so ended up getting the phone for free, and the £30 online 300 contrract for £20. score

Let us know how you get on.I know stocks of the K750i and the W800i are very,very limited.Sony will not be shipping any more of both models for at least a month in the UK so insurance and upgrade customers will have to wait a long time.

well i called this morning and got the 'oh sorry that phone is out of stock'....and so is the k750i..... however there was no mention of this when i called about an upgrade yesterday
although, they were trying there hardest to get me to take the itunes motorola
ive cancelled my existing contract and they cant tell me when the phone is going to be in stock... so im think about going to orange (if they have it). at this point i dont care which phone i have, i just wanted to upgrade to another sony ericsson cos i prefer them
whats a girl to do
