This is really pants. I have been buiding my site now for a few months. And have also been accessing it fine to check things through.
But now, I can access any web site available except mine... why would this be, I have tried it from work and its fine, but from home... nothing, it just hangs saying "connecting to
http://fireegg.com". I have also tried FireFox and IE and have cleared all my temporoy internet files in both and the cookies and cache, disabled my firewall, and anti virus...
Help?...

How long have you been unable to access it? The only thing I can think of is that you have a corrupted entry in your hosts file but to be honest, I doubt it very much.
Any way, you might as well try it. Download and run this:
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/winsockxpfix.html
The PC will want to restart and hopefully, you'll be able to get to your site after. Shouldn't make any difference, but can you get there via
www.fireegg.com rather than
http://fire....

Cheers, I will give it a go when I get home. Its just Odd, I have never had this problem before, and its odd that I CAN access it on any other computer, and that its the only site I CANT access on mine.

Yes, it's very strange. I had a similar problem once with a router that wasn't fully compatible with AOL but in that case, there were four or five sites that wouldn't load, same message / symptoms as yours, not just one.

have you tried using a proxy server, just search google.. my dsl router will not allow me to access my website from inside (it is stupid, but i can't afford a better one) so i use a proxy server & opera to connect internally, and test externally..
you may need to try a few before finding one that works..
