basically all went well, installed everything correctly, the update screen appeared and gave an error message (picture).

it then displayed THIS back on the web page:

"Your device is not permitted to use this service

Your operator has not approved the usage of this service for this device.
We look forward to assisting you again soon.
Thank you for using the Sony Ericsson Update Service!"

if you cant be arsed to tell me a solution thats fine, just wondering if this is fault is on the website side or the phone side.

Happening to me too. Been like that for a day or two. They had some issues with the k750i firmware.
