Recently obtained a p900, was o2 now unlocked. Cannot get the update service to work at all. Manual verification works upto the point it is installing the service but thats it, it sits there doing nothing task manager says its running but there is no indication that it is installing anything. Have left it running like this for over 1/2 hour but still no luck. The phone syncs with my pc no problem, have done this and tranfered files etc to phone so i dont think its my end thats the problem
Have tried without firewall, updated java, IE security settings on low!!!........still no luck, i am running win xp pro with sp2
I have confirmed that the current cda version is from o2 uk and that it is a few versions behind, but i do not get any errors during the running of this...........can anyone suggest anything to fix this???
