When doing the service test on K750, you can bring up the firmware info mine is R1A044. If you look at the camera bit on the specs it says "3.8" What is this and why is it less than other firmwares???

That is u're camera driver version. It is less b/c u have the earliest firmware, if u update the phone u will have the newest camera driver.
